Shower more sustainably
Do you unknowingly shower longer than you actually want? Would you like to use water and energy more sustainably? The AQUATIMER helps you do this. Use the rotary knob for determining how long you want to shower. The flow of water stops automatically when the set time has elapsed. Smart and simple.
Good for your wallet
On average, we shower 7½ minutes each time (source: CBS - Dutch National Agency for Statistics). Given the scarcity of drinking water and energy, it is better to shower for only 5 minutes. This saves a 4-person household around €250 per year.
Environmentally conscious
In addition to saving water and energy with the AQUATIMER, the product is also designed in such a way that the various components can be recycled. Batteries are also unnecessary due to the use of spring force.
Quick and easy to connect
Place the AQUATIMER easily yourself (without tools) between the mixer tap and the shower hose.
Use
Set your desired shower time on the AQUATIMER.
Turn on the shower tap.
The water flow stops automatically when the time has elapsed.
Turn off the shower tap.
Easy connection in 3 steps
Unscrew the shower hose from the shower tap.
If you can't do this by hand, you can use pliers and a cloth.
Mount the AQUATIMER to the shower tap with the knob facing forward.
Tighten the swivel of the AQUATIMER by hand only.
Hold the AQUATIMER so that it doesn't turn.
Attach the shower hose to the AQUATIMER.

AQUATIMER is a partnership between Industrial Design Provider from Amsterdam and Marenq from Almelo. Marenq B.V. acts as the contracting party.
The product helps smart and economic showering. This is based on the demand to increase environmental awareness, specifically in the field of drinking water and energy. During the development of the AQUATIMER, in addition to the net environmental benefit, reuse of materials was taken as a starting point.
Charity
Drinking water is becoming scarcer in our country and we need to seriously reduce our use of it. In some parts of the world, people have no access to clean drinking water at all. From that perspective, we also need to appreciate the availability of tap water.
This awareness lives with us and therefore a part of the proceeds from the sales of AQUATIMER products will be used to support an Amref project in East Africa.
